A note on programs and coaching
If you are writing about interest in programs or coaching, tell us where you are on the spectrum — novice, athlete, recovery, maintenance — and what you're hoping to get out of it. Program and coaching offerings, when they exist, are built around the same thesis as the site: movement is the foundation, nutrition is the elixir, and the specifics are tailored to the person and the situation. Where a situation calls for clinical care, the program defers to the clinical team.
What we can and can't do
What we can do
Answer questions about the site, the thesis, and the research. Consider source suggestions and corrections. Point you toward the right section of the site for your question. When programs and coaching exist, discuss whether they fit your situation.
What we can't do
Give individualized medical advice. Diagnose. Prescribe. Design a clinical rehab program for a specific person. Replace the clinical team for a person in a clinical recovery situation. The site and its contacts are a resource, not a clinical service.
The email alternative
If you prefer email, the same address accepts the same kinds of messages as the form above. Write to us with the same detail you'd put in the form — which claim, which section, which question, which audience you're in. The more specific you are, the more useful the response can be.
Before you write
If your question is about a specific claim or section on the site, tell us which one. If it's about your own situation, tell us where you are on the spectrum and what you're hoping for — and know that we will not give individualized medical advice, and that we may point you to the clinician for anything that crosses into that territory.
